Shea²

As promised, here is Shea². My second session with Shea had 3 main objectives: golf photos, a yearbook photo, and a mini session with Shea's brother Ryan. However, we didn't neglect having fun in the process:
Girl has ups!!

I love, love, lovvveeee the light coming through in the above photo. The shadows from the golf balls and the light coming across Shea's face (because of Chad rockin' the reflector behind the scenes) makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. :)


A little texture..fun eh? I love the assortment of colors in the background :) yay! fall!



And, this is Ryan!

Whew! Have I mentioned how much fun I have had with Shea? I can't wait to see what she picks for her album, wallets, etc.

Shea

September 18th, 2007:
NEW MESSAGE from Shea Colley. Who is Shea you ask? I didn't know either but I was about to love this girl!
Shea says:
"you do really good work, and i am trying to find someone "different" for taking my Sr. pics because everyone goes to the same places it seems like.."
Fair enough.
And what's even better is, I was sooo excited to get some senior business because, well I just LOVE senior pictures.
What I didn't know then was that I would have to wait one whole YEAR to photograph Shea. Wow, was I honored to be asked so far in advance! But forget about honored, I was NERVOUS! (haha hope it didn't show Shea)

So here we are 1 year, 3 days, and some hours later:
This gorgeous girl's photographs were a family event too...we had her parents along for both sessions and her brother joined us for a portion of our second session (images still to come). I might have even put them to work..Chad on reflectors and lights and Beth on official "hair duty." It was windy ;)



Talk about cool locations too! [Insert patting self on back] I searched far and wide to find these fun spots, but this girl doesn't photograph and tell.

Faith the Fabulous

I tell you, these Johnsons are something else! Faith, along with her 7 (YES 7!) siblings and amazing parents are some of the greatest people I have ever had the priviledge of knowing. I photographed older sister, Timi, a couple of years ago. AND now Faith! Faith has the amazing combination of beauty AND brains. One day she will probably win a Nobel Prize, or becomes the first woman President, maybe Miss America?
Faith, being the creative person that she is, was the perfect person for me to photograph without worrying about taking only "traditional" shots.
Now I told you she was great, right!?!
